Keep it running

Maintaining the Titanium DFI SL

A DFI petrol board, so the petrol maintenance library applies end to end — the after-ride flush, spark plug and DFI service, the titanium exhaust, and a full engine rebuild if it comes to that. No alternator, so keep the electronics battery topped up, and a race board gets ridden hard — stay ahead of the intervals.

  • After every ride — rinse, flush the cooling system, dry the engine bay
  • Every 6–10 hours — spark plug and main bearing check
  • 50 hours / 12 months — full shop service
  • Between sessions — charge the electronics battery (no alternator)
