Maintaining the Titanium DFI Ski

A DFI petrol board, so the petrol maintenance library covers it end to end — the after-ride flush, spark plug and DFI service, the titanium exhaust, and a full engine rebuild if it comes to that. No alternator here, so keep the electronics battery topped up between sessions.

Setup: Handlepole & handlebar setup (PDF) — fitting the pole, setting bar height and angle, footpad positions.

  • After every ride — rinse, flush the cooling system, dry the engine bay
  • Every 6–10 hours — spark plug and main bearing check
  • 50 hours / 12 months — full shop service
  • Between sessions — charge the electronics battery (no alternator)
