Three intervals cover it: an after-every-ride routine you do yourself, a short service every 6–10 hours, and a full service at the shop once a year.

After every ride — 0:26

Wash the whole board down with fresh water — especially after salt water. See Cleaning your board after a ride.
Lubricate any moving parts inside the engine compartment.
Check all the connections on the cables and pipes in the engine bay.
Flush the engine through with fresh water, then spray it with a spray lubricant.

Every 6–10 hours — 0:52

Change the spark plug. See Spark plug check & replacement.
Spray oil or lithium grease down the tube into the main bearing.

Every 50 hours or 12 months — 1:02

Send the board to your service center for a full yearly service.

Tip: track engine hours from day one — the 6–10 hour and 50 hour intervals only mean something if you know where you are. The JETSURF app logs hours; a note in your phone works too.

Caution: the yearly shop service isn't optional — it's the interval that catches bearing, seal, and drivetrain wear before it becomes a failure on the water. Book it at 50 hours or 12 months, whichever comes first.
