The whole electric board for a new owner — what ships with it, the throttle's hidden booster, how power modes are set, and what the battery's colour lights are telling you on the water.

What's in the package — 0:22

The booster — 0:56

Power mode — 1:23

  1. 1:23 — Put the shutoff key into the throttle controller — a blue light means you can select a power mode.
  2. 1:36 — Leave that key in, and touch the second shutoff key to the indication lights: green = low, orange = medium, red = high.
  3. 1:49 — Pull the key out to confirm the mode, then insert it a second time — the board is ready.
  4. 2:02Don't touch the throttle before inserting the key or the board won't respond — you'll get a fast blinking red light.

Battery capacity on the water — 2:12

Battery handling — 2:53

  1. 2:54In: all four locks open, drop the battery in, push your hands against the connector to seat it, lock all four.
  2. 3:06Out: release the four locks (press the sides), four fingers under the battery, thumbs to push it up and off.
  3. 3:18 — Keep the connectors clean and dry — use the covers (one for the board bay, one for the battery). Clear any water, dust or sand carefully.

Cooling — 3:38

Charging — 3:46

  1. 3:49 — Plug the cables into the charger, the charger into the wall (avoid extension leads), then connect the charger to the battery.
  2. 4:01 — Charger on = blue light. Lower box solid green = 80%. Upper box solid green = full. About 2.5 hours. In the US, use at least a 16 A circuit.
  3. 4:22 — The charger has fault detection with an acoustic signal — a count of short tones matches a fault in the manual. A siren means unplug immediately and follow the manual's safety procedure.
  4. 4:42 — When it's full, switch the charger off by unplugging it.

Battery safety — 4:45

Tip: the battery's colour light is your fuel gauge — plan your ride so you're turning for shore at orange, not waiting for red. Once red stops blinking, the board is already limping you home on its reserve.
Caution: never touch the throttle before the shutoff key goes in. Keep the battery and bay connectors dry and covered. Charge on a proper circuit, not an extension lead, and stop everything if the charger sirens. Store the battery 10–40°C, out of the sun, away from the board.
Keep riding
